St Clements Church

We had a bit of time to kill waiting for our ‘Black house’ cottage to be prepared . We took a drive to the south of Harris where we came across this historic chaurch.

St Clement’s Church is a late fifteenth-century or early sixteenth-century church in Rodel, Harris, Scotland, built for the Chiefs of the MacLeods of Harris. It is dedicated to Pope Clement I.

It is sometimes known as Eaglais Roghadail or Rodal Church.
