Third Lanark Athletic Club was a professional Scottish football club based in Glasgow. Founded in 1872 as an offshoot of the 3rd Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers.
These images were taken as the two ‘slab blocks’ were being prepared for demolition. The slab block I lived in on Petershill drive was demolished first.
When I found out that the Red road flats were to be demolished I just had to capture images of them before they were gone.

Situated in Springburn, north Glasgow. Springburn park’s best days may be behind it but it’s still nice for a walk.
