Situated on the west coast of the Isle of Harris Luskentyre beach is the most stunning beach I have ever been on. On a bright summers day you would think you where in the Caribbean or a Pacific Island.
Desolate, windswept, rugged , no good for farming but stunning. A leisurely drive around East Harris is wonderful.

Originally situated on the cities’ southside, the museum was moved to the Kelvin Hall and then finally to a purpose built site on the Clydeside.
